| Beautiful gold artefacts in the Museum of Pre-Columbian Gold |
We checked out after an early breakfast in the Toscana, and Manuel drove us to the airport. Of course we had hours to wait for our flight. We had coffee and cinnamon buns, and caught our Copa flight to
San Jose. I passed on the beef sandwiches. On arrival we were met by a rep from Ara tours who took us straight to the
Grano de Oro hotel, a top small hotel on the west of the city. Everything very nice so far.

| Parque Central in San Jose - a meeting place for people and parrots |
We got a taxi to the centre and strolled round, had coffee in the
Teatro Nacional, and visited the Museum for
Pre-Colombian Gold artefacts. Very interesting and well displayed. Then we answered a survey by two students about global warming. At the
Parque Central we heard parrots making a racket even though we couldn't see them in the green leaves of the trees.
Having a gourmet dinner at the hotel, we hope.
