Today a group of Swiss ladies joined us at breakfast, but they only stayed one night. The hotel was founded by a Swiss couple but most guests this week have been American. After breakfast we caught up with news from home using my tablet in the reception area, and then booked a birdwatching boat trip for the next morning. We spent the day in the sea, by the beach and in the pool.

In the evening we repeated our sunset walk on the beach, stopping for a Happy Hour beer at
El Pescador, where there was a singer. Dinner at
Portofino, a Columbian place, was quite nice - fish - but service was poor. We retraced our steps on the beach while the incoming tide tried to beat us, and at the hotel we enjoyed a coffee liqueur to the accompaniment of a
marimba band. Quite a romantic evening!
